catwalk robotJapanese scientists have unveiled a female catwalk model robot at Tsukuba City, north east of Tokyo. The lady humanoid walking robot will soon start her stuff at Tokyo fashion shows. Opening in the media premiere at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology outside Tokyo, the revolutionary fashionable robot said,

“Hello everybody, I am cybernetic human HRP-4C.”

HRP-4C has slightly oversized eyes, a little nose and it is programmed to mimic the movements of flesh-and-blood fashion models. The fashion-robot is 5ft 2 inches, the average height of young Japanese women, but weighs in at a waiflike 95 pounds including batteries. It has 30 motors in its body that let it to walk and move its arms as well as 8 motors on its face to make expressions like anger and surprise.

The preview was a warm-up for the robot’s appearance at a Tokyo fashion show on March 23. Everybody is now eager to see her performance at live fashion shows.  She will make a special appearance in a Tokyo fashion show and will go on sale for around $200,000.
