It was the sparkling and shimmering night at the 2009 Academy Awards. The biggest and the brightest Hollywood stars displayed on the Red Carpet, and all of them were looking stunningly beautiful. Judged against last year’s plain and un-inspired choice, this year old Hollywood stars are back with glamour.
Kate Winslet, the Academy Award winner for the best actress, appeared with a unique one-shoulder Atelier Yves Saint Laurent silk embroidered gown along with her retro yet innovative slicked-back hair, soft makeup and the extra glistening Chopard diamond jewels, Kate looked celestial.
Angelina Jolie was also looking stunning and did not surprise the fans with a daring gown or a new look, she was looking beautiful as always in a black draped strapless Elie Saab couture gown and an amazing pair of emerald Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring.
Halle Berry lightened the red carpet with a strapless golden-black beaded Marchesa gown paired with H. Stern jewels.
As usual star actress Anna Hathaway also appeared magnificently, she wore a beautiful Giorgio Armani jewel encrusted strapless gown with a soft twirl and sequined scale pattern all the way down… paired with Cartier jewels, and looks stunning!
Dressed like princess ballerina, Sarah Jessica Parker really looked like a princess at the Academy Award 2009. Her dress was from Dior Haute Couture, when asked how she would describe her gown she referred to it as a “sea-foam”/ “barely mint” color. Complementing her look were some Fred Leighton diamonds for an overall magical look just like in the fairy tale.
She might not win the award for best actress but Meryl Streep sure win my heart with her elegant grey chiffon Alberta Ferretti gown.
The wonderful Jessica Biel wore a strong architectural white satin strapless Prada gown with Louis Vuitton jewelry.
